In the event participate the world's best big wave riders
Surfers, Surf forecasters, sponsors and spectators are waiting for one of the Bay Area's most interesting events to be announced. Unlike most professional sports, this competition does not have a set date, but rather a three month window during which, should conditions become ideal, organizers and surfers alike have only 1-2 days to put together the contest.
Every Saturday Night DJs Roger Mas y el Kool Kyle throw the Superritmo! party at the Make Out Room on 22nd street, right off Mission in San Francisco. If you have never been, you owe it to yourself to check out one of the great nights out in the city.

Boom Boom Room
If you are looking for a fantastic evening out of drinking, great music and dancing in San Francisco, look no further than The Boom Boom Room. The description from the website offers a very accurate description: "Located in the heart of San Francisco's old Fillmore district, the Club is a sultry, down-home Juke Joint providing cocktails, dancing live Blues, Boogie, Groove & Soul music six nights a week. If you love music and boogying, you've gotta come party with us. The Boom Boom Room is the hippest, low-light, straight-up funky club on the West coast!”

Rassela's Jazz Club
So your have a friend in town, a last minute date, or a night out with your significant other but are tired of the standard dinner and a movie. Suitable for any occasion and adding a little twist to your evening options is Rassela’s Jazz Club & Restaurant located in the Fillmore Jazz District. First opened in 1986 on California and Divisidero, Rassela’s is now firmly entrenched in its location on Fillmore street, located just stumbling distance from other great entertainment venues such as Yoshi’s, The Boom Boom Room, and of course the iconic Fillmore Auditorium.
The San Francisco Giants are lucky to call the neighborhood of Soma their home. Within striking distance of AT&T Park, the Giants' home, is a variety of bars, pubs, coffeehouses and restaurants where you can wet your whistle before, during, and after a Giants game. What follows are some of my neighborhood favorites:
Now that summer has officially started, and we have enjoyed some rare warm weather in the City by the Bay, San Franciscans are looking to head outside and enjoy a cold beverage with friends. A perfect spot to do just that, especially for those who work in the Financial District, is Pier 23 Cafe.
Grub Hub is the easiest way to order food to be delivered to your home or workplace. Whether you know exactly what you want—a small pizza from your favorite pizza place—or are lacking inspiration and are not sure what to order, Grub Hub helps you find what to order, and gets the food to you fast.
If you work in the Financial District and want a bar where you can enjoy a great beer just steps from the office, look no further than Cafe Prague. It's like stepping from the hectic streets of downtown San Francisco straight into the Czech Republic.
