One way to keep track of what remains of summer is to look at the San Francisco Giants´ schedule. An even better way, is to look at the standings and pick up some tickets for the playoffs race in downtown San Francisco´s unique stadium.

The Cal Sailing Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run sailing and windsurfing club that offers lessons, recreation, and free programs for the general public and for summer programs.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, I had the opportunity to hike the Lost Coast Trail. The Lost Coast Trail is a 24-mile stretch of coast that leads north from Black Sands Beach to the Mattole River, along the wilderness beach.

The last weekend in June is reserved each year in San Francisco for celebrating the contributions of the city's vibrant gay community at the annual Pride Parade. In addition to the Parade, which will wind its way down Market Street starting at 10 a.m. on June 26, there will be events throughout the weekend.
