Pride Parade
The last weekend in June is reserved each year in San Francisco for celebrating the contributions of the city's vibrant gay community at the annual Pride Parade. In addition to the Parade, which will wind its way down Market Street starting at 10 a.m. on June 26, there will be events throughout the weekend.
On Saturday, June 25, the annual San Francisco Dyke March will begin at 3 p.m. at Dolores Park, and will head to the Castro at 7 p.m. Later that night, at 8 p.m., the 33rd. Annual Pride Concert will be held at Everett Auditorium. The Grand Marshals of the Pride parade include Chaz Bono, Olympia Dukakis, Yigit Pura and Bishop Yvette Flunder. Lastly, there will be a Closing Party at The Regency Ballroom featuring Taylor Dayne.
