Crossroads Cafe, Bookstore & Art Gallery
It is very easy to miss Crossroads Cafe, Bookstore & Art Gallery in Soma. I have lived in the neighborhood for almost a year and only came across it recently. Hidden away on Delancey Street, right around the corner from AT&T Park, Crossroads is a quite attractive place to enjoy a coffee and breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning.
Crossroads is not just a coffeehouse serving coffee, tea and pastries, along with breakfast and lunch, it also has a small bookstore area, including a section for children's books. The space also functions as an art gallery, with art on the walls for sale. Aside from the art, the space is very clean and bare, with white walls behind the counter where the food is ordered. Servers will then bring it to you, where you can enjoy seating either in the bookstore or outside on the patio area. Choose the latter; the view of the Embarcadero can't be beat.
