For the 7th year in a row, local adult pop music radio station KLLC- also known as Radio Alice- has put on a free summer concert in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park. Summerthing 2010 takes place at Speedway Meadow in Golden Gate Park Sunday June 27 starting at noon and will be featuring such bands as Lifehouse, Kris Allen, One Eskimo and Thriving Ivory.
The concert is completely free to attend, however there will be a number of food and beverage options to take advantage of while enjoying the live music on stage. Otherwise, this is a very relaxed concert and a great opportunity to relax in the afternoon with a picnic and friends in the park. Fresh off of winning American Idol 2009, Kris Allen will be treating concertgoers to his new songs, and the headliner, Lifehouse, has been around for ten years and are best known for the hit 2001 single, "Hanging by a Moment".
