Due Date
In "Due Date", Peter Highman -Robert Downey Jr.- has to cross the country in just five days with an eccentric companion to be with his wife when she gives birth to their son. Peter tries desperately to fly home from Atlanta, but a chance enocunter with an aspiring actor named Ethan Tremblay -Zack Galifianakis- ends up turning his cross-country trip into a road trip nightmare.
With "Due Date", it seems like Robert Downey Jr. has made up for the fiasco that was "Iron Man 2" (and he is currently preparing for the sequel to Sherlock Holmes). The movie also features brief appearances by Michelle Monaghan, Jamie Foxx, Alan Arkin, Juliette Lewis and Danny McBride, who appear throughout the journey we take along with the main .
Although it doesn't reach the levels of craziness seen in "The Hangover"- also directed by Todd Phillips- "Due Date" is definitely a good time, seeing what happens to the protagonists as well as seeing how their relationship evolves.
