If you're like me, you have wide-ranging taste in music. You like all sorts of musical genres, and you are proud to say so. Yet there is one genre, at least on this side of the Mason Dixon line, that continues to get a bad rep. And that is country music. Lady Antebellum has breathed fresh air into the country music scene, and they are performing at the Fox Theater in Oakland on October 28th and the San Jose Event Center on October 29th.

Gotan Project
Gotan Project is back in San Francisco on October 3rd, touring in support of their new album, "Gotan Project 3.0", and it should be a concert not to miss. I had the opportunity to see Gotan Project live a couple of years ago at The Warfield Theater, and while I was not sure what to expect from a show featuring DJs, I was very impressed by the show.

Morcheeba
On Wednesday, July 28th, Morcheeba brings their smooth, trip-hop sound from London to the City by the Bay. With the return of lead singer Skye Edwards to the band started by the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey, Morcheeba is sure to present an amazing concert of their best hits, as usual.

Alejandro Sanz
Any Latino or Latina who grew up in the 80's or 90's will be excited to hear about the Alejandro Sanz concert in San Jose on July 18th. This concert is not ideal for sensitive types who are in love and want to look cool in front of their boyfriend or girlfriend.
