Alejandro Sanz
Any Latino or Latina who grew up in the 80's or 90's will be excited to hear about the Alejandro Sanz concert in San Jose on July 18th. This concert is not ideal for sensitive types who are in love and want to look cool in front of their boyfriend or girlfriend.
Sanz has a unique voice, and the lyrics to his songs express feelings that reflect the situations and feelings that most men keep inside. Who doesn't remember “Pisando fuerte”, the story of a young guy who falls for an older woman, or "Corazón Partío”, about the kind of love that rescues you, gives you hope, only to destroy your hopes all over again. These are only two of his many hits.
In general I think it's refreshing that, in this day and age when men are in the headlines for being unfaithful, liars, and the all-around bad guy, we can listen to songs with truthful lyrics and great musical compositions.
