Morcheeba

On Wednesday, July 28th, Morcheeba brings their smooth, trip-hop sound from London to the City by the Bay.  With the return of lead singer Skye Edwards to the band started by the brothers Paul and Ross Godfrey, Morcheeba is sure to present an amazing concert of their best hits, as usual.

Formed in the mid-90's, Morcheeba released their first album, "Who Can You Trust"?, in 1996, featuring the single "Trigger Hippie". Since then, they have released 7 albums, including one released just this June, entitled "Blood Like Lemonade". Though absent from the group since the release of "Charango" in 2000, Skye Edwards has just returned to the group. Though their sound is marked by pulsing trip hop rhythms that soothe and relax, Morcheeba is simply not Morcheeba without the lilting, lovely voice of Skye Edwards on lead vocal. How distinctive is their sound? This is "Part of the Process", performed just one month ago in Zagreb, Croatia.

Don't miss this chance to see the reunited Morcheeba at the classic Fillmore, right on Geary Street. And be sure to catch dinner at Dosa before the show.
