Rassela's Jazz Club
So your have a friend in town, a last minute date, or a night out with your significant other but are tired of the standard dinner and a movie. Suitable for any occasion and adding a little twist to your evening options is Rassela’s Jazz Club & Restaurant located in the Fillmore Jazz District. First opened in 1986 on California and Divisidero, Rassela’s is now firmly entrenched in its location on Fillmore street, located just stumbling distance from other great entertainment venues such as Yoshi’s, The Boom Boom Room, and of course the iconic Fillmore Auditorium.
With live music nightly from established to up-and-coming artists in the genres of jazz, world music, Latin, rhythm and blues, and funk, this club is definitely worth a try. Many evenings there is no cover and you can walk right in, grab a drink, dance, or simply relax and listen to some great music.
Whether you come to the club dressed in jeans or your top hat, you and your guests will enjoy great music, a fine Ethiopian menu, and overall a very relaxed atmosphere.
