The place definitely has a neighborhood feel- this is not a place for tourists, but rather for locals to meet up and enjoy a great cup of coffee with friends and neighbors. The people at Java Beach brew a strong cup of joe, and also offer a wide selection of teas. You can accompany your hot beverage with an enormous croissant, muffin or scone that is probably bigger than your fist. Rest assured, the pastries are excellent. Though best known for their breakfast, Java Beach also offers salads and sandwiches, as well as beer and wine. Happy hour is from 5-7, and there are frequent musical performances by local musicians.
