You'll never have trouble finding 2223 Restaurant. The restaurant is located on 2223 Market St., right near the heart of the Castro District. If you are in the area and are looking for a fun, eclectic restaurant that serves elegant meals at affordable prices, this is the perfect place.
I've only been to 2223 for dinner, so I can't speak to the brunch menu, but the dinner menu includes a bit of everything. The restaurant describes its menu as New American, which runs the gamut from tandoori spiced salmon to a classic yankee pot roast. The portions are generous, and everything my friends and I have tried has been excellent. I also highly recommend $12 Tuesdays. Just as the name indicates, all entrees are $12, and appetizers are just $6. Options from this special menu vary, but have included a spicy pulled pork pupusa and pan roasted mussels and clams. The wine list is also excellent.
It is also worth noting two great aspects of the dining experience at 2223- the service and the ambience. Service is professional and friendly, and the decor is lovely- dimly lit, but not too dark you can't read your menu. There's always a festive atmosphere at 2223. You have to come see for yourself.
