Kara´s Cupcakes
I've recently had the good luck to try Kara's famous cupcakes, a pleasure that can't be had just any day- first, because you have to be willing to wait in a long, long line, and also because these cupcakes are not exactly cheap. I also have to confess that I had always thought that the only special thing about cupcakes was the frosting, so I never thought anything of the fad- until I tried Kara's Cupcakes.
I've called Kara's "famous" because this is not the first time that Kara is the star, along with her cupcakes, of a national TV show. Those of us who live in the San Francisco Bay Area don't have to watch the cupcakes on TV and drool- we're lucky enough to have 5 Kara's franchises in the area.
If you want to be sure that you're favorite flavor will be available when you get there, you should order ahead of time, since demand is high. You should definitely find a flavor to your liking (Kara's menu) when you're there. My favorite, without a doubt, is sweet vanilla.
