We've already written on CiuSF about all of the options in San Francisco for pizzerias in particular and Italian restaurants in general. Among the pizzerias, there are some like Tony's Pizza Napoletana, a "serious" restaurant with tables and table cloths (though the latter may be made of paper), and then there are those like Marcello's Pizza, a small neighborhood pizzeria with just a few tables and typical delivery service that is without a doubt one of the best pizzerias in the city.

Marcello's is located on Castro Street, right at the corner of Market and in front of the famous Castro Theater. As I previously stated, this is a pizzeria where you'll have no distractions- nothing but the delicious pizzas on hand- and as always, the secret is in the dough. The pizza is at a very reasonable price as well.

When it comes to pizza, everyone has their favorites, except of course if we're talking about a pizza that has won world prizes, so everyone can simply go ahead and order their favorite toppings, although maybe this is the opportunity to go out on a limb and order something more exotic. Hawaiian pizza, anyone?
