OSHA Thai
At the top of the list of cities with the highest number of restaurants per capita is of course San Francisco. This is a result of a love of food by its citizens and visitors and a wide selection of restaurants showcasing menus influenced by varying countries. What you do not see much of are large national chain restaurants compared to the number of independent and even local chains. One such local chain is OSHA Thai...
...which has become well known in the city for its excellent food and comfortable setting. Reasonable prices and a varied menu featuring lunch specials, as well as a wide selection of dishes created by their chefs, have drawn the attention of locals. One of my all- time favorites is the Volcanic Beef, which is consistently an excellent combination of beef with spices, topped with onion rings. With salads made with papaya and mango to appetizers such as the Ahi Tuna to an excellent selection of curries, this restaurant is a staple for those interested in an excellent dining experience.
There are many excellent restaurant options for Thai food in this city, and while I continue to frequent others as well, OSHA Thai has become my choice for a business lunch or an occasion where the contemporary decor and convenient location is important for the experience.
OSHA Thai has seven locations currently in San Francisco, making it easy to find. Their newest location is on Third St, near downtown. For a complete list of the locations as well as the menu visit OSHA Thai's website.
