Strawberry Crepe
The Japantown mall is home to restaurants where you can enjoy sushi, teriyaki, tempura, sake, and many other Japanese favorites. But there is always a line at Sophie's Crepes, where you can enjoy delicious crepes to top off any meal.
Sophie's is on the east end of the Japantown mall, on the second story by the Kinokuniya bookstore. There is an extensive list of both savory and sweet crepes; however, I think the popularity of Sophie's is due to its sweet crepes. It satisfies that craving you may have for something slightly chocolatey, slightly fruity, and with the nice crunch of a crepe. My favorite aspect of a crepe from Sophie's is the crispiness of the crepe itself- it contrasts nicely with the creaminess of say, whipped cream, nutella, bananas and ice cream. One crepe with three fillings costs around $5. Also, Sophie's is cash only.
